    Indian Institute of Management Bangalore hikes fee (The Times of India)

    For 2009-10, the fee has been hiked from Rs five lakh to Rs 5.25 lakh, and for 2010-11, to Rs 5.75 lakh. This was unanimously decided at the Board of Governors meeting presided by IIM-B Chairman Mukesh Ambani, IIMB Director Prof Pankaj Chandra told reporters.     for the fee hike, for the seat increase.

    I guess after IIM A and B, other instis will also follow. Sigh!

    Well. its a sorority effect..... C followed by A and now by B..... They have to go in tandem.. I am sure these decisions are not induced by peer decisions.... They have to maintain the so called 'exclusiveness'...But I think they are treading on the right path; they need to do this in order to maintain their standards

    Its IIM-L's turn now, even they have hiked their fees by 1.5lacs.
