Post Online Debate - Are foreign MNCs superior to Indian MNCs

Indian MNC'S are slowly catching the pace with Foreign counterpart. If we take IT companies, Conglomerate Tata,Mahindra their products are equally good as the others in World. This give a sense of confidence. But we should not be in complacent and if possible learn the innovative way in which these Foreign MNC'S work as we are still laggards in this area.

I believe foreign MNC's are superior to Indian MNC's. They spend lot of time in doing research and development and can easily invest in any kind of research but India being rich only in labor force is economically weak for such investments. No doubt the condition of India has improved a lot but still its not among the superior one.

Post Online Debate - Are foreign MNCs superior to Indian MNCs

    For :
Foreign MNC are much superior to Indian MNC as they have better employee policy and they support employees to maintain a work life balance.
They may sound little naive but in employee point of view this is very critical for especially people working in pressure zones like sales and marketing.
Here in Indian MNC they think working 24hrs a day and leading workaholic life is key to success unlike foreign MNC where employee psychology and mental health is also taken into account.
Basically speaking Indian MNCs are not employee friendly even for those who exceed their level of expectation.

Post Online Debate - Are foreign MNCs superior to Indian MNCs

    Against :
When it comes to the basics it is finally India which caters to the need. Look out for the consultancy firms, without them business would not have been possible... And looking at their growing numbers in India, I guess, in the coming future, India has a bright future lying ahead...

Post Online Debate - Are foreign MNCs superior to Indian MNCs

The work culture of the foreign MNC's are more sophisticated and more standardized as when it comes to workforce management or Human resource management. But at the same time in India which has a lot number of skilled workforce are tested to the limits in terms of work timings and work load.
All the emerging companies in India seems to follow the same trend.

Also this does not denies the fact that the foreign companies are more attracted to this 24hr work culture which in-turn creates more jobs in India.

Post Online Debate - Are foreign MNCs superior to Indian MNCs

There are many aspects to cover when it comes to compare two different work culture or trends:
    Pros
    1. Indian's are ready to work in any work environment and are available through-out the clock. At the same time foreign people are restricted to limited 8-9 hrs work timing.
    Cons
    1. Due to availability at all times and instant replacement for the same position Indian's are payed comparatively less than the foreign counterparts.
    Pros
2.Indians are more dedicated to their work than the foreign workers.
    Cons
    2. The dedication has an equal cost in terms of health overlooked by Indian MNC's in most of the cases.Unlike the foreign MNC's.

Post Online Debate - Are foreign MNCs superior to Indian MNCs

    For :
So to sum up, the main reasons why indian mncs are not so huge as compared to the foreign ones are
1.The foreign currency plays an important role in this. Now, as we all know the economic condition India is in now, any bright student or any professional would prefer to work abroad in a foreign company to an Indian company. Earning in a stronger economy is something everyone prefers. This is why i would say that foreign mncs are better. Since the foreign companies lure the best brains in our country and employ them in the R&D sector of their company with attractive pay packages, it is quite obvious that indian mncs do not get the best students for them to develop.
2.Talking about government policies about the private companies, Indian rules are very stringent when it come to private sectors, as the government wants keep a good hold on its already existing monopoly.

Post Online Debate - Are foreign MNCs superior to Indian MNCs

Yes foreign MNCs are better than Indian MNCs.The main reason for this lies in the educational structure of indian universities. The education system of india produces unemployable graduates whereas the foreign universities have a curriculum which enable the students to do part time jobs along with their studies. This inculcates professionalism among the students and make them highly efficient graduates.
