i tried to attempt all d 3 passages in VA, lost a lot of time there hence couldnt score well. thanks since i got the point.

Anyways i found the paper to be close to the actual CAT last year

Is there any book 2 improve them.

Hi Monty,
Calculation can best be improved by beginning with tables, reciprocals, cubes and cube roots. As CAT does not allow the use of calculators, memorizing them (better still, internalizing them) would go a long way in increasing your comfort in the section. Make calculation a part of your daily regimen. If you are traveling – start multiplying the numbers on the number plate of the vehicle in front of you. If you enter a room – start counting the number of chairs, people in the room. If there are 13 of them (a prime number), ask which are the preceding and next two prime numbers to 13. The idea is to become so familiar with numbers that you start PLAYING with them and enjoying them in the process.

I secured 81 only. I think I need to practise really hard.

I have screwed up everything..
Managed 93%tile+...
So far as my score is concerned I can't also expect even 90%tile+ wd this number..

I think the tests on this site are tougher than the actual CAT exam also! I guess if I ace this I'll surely ace CAT also!!

U dont really need to be a math viz or nething of dat sort.. u just need to be adept at solving scool level maths. Alll that's different here is that the time dat we can allot per question is ridiculously small.. concentrate on improving urself along those lines
