    When two people meet for the first time, they exchange flowers.

    The total no. of people in this ball is (1+6)x2 = 14

    Normally, The max. no. of flowers that a person can get = 12 (i.e. 14- 1 (as he/ she cannot gift himself/herself)-1 (as he/she is not new to their spouse)

    Min. no of flowers that a person can get is zero (0), as he before hand knew everybody and he/she has to be the spouse of the person who received the max. no of flowers.

    Because, if he/she is not the spouse of the person receiving max flowers, 13 distinct reply is impossible. In that case, max. no of flowers that a get would be reduced to 11.

    Since, Prof. asked 13 people and got 13 distinct responses,

    13 distinct replies, is only possible
    if Prof would have got, responses as 12,11,10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1,0.

    as Prof. did not question himself=> Prof is not the person who has received zero=> Mrs. Prof has NOT
    received 12 flowers.

    Predicting further is not possible.
    thus, Mrs. Frankstein can receive a max. of 11 flowers and a min. of zero.
