there is no fixed pattern as such..its roughly f this patternVerbal ability:25- 35,Reading comprehension: 15-17 ,Quantitative analysis: 14-18,Data interpretation:10- 20 ,Data sufficiency: 15,Analytical reasoning: 40-51,Non-verbal reasoning: 30 and The total marks for GD/interview being 40..so a total of 240 marks..exam is quite easy...but what matters here is ur speed coupled with some luck.. no-negative mearks for incorrect answers so in short u have to attempt all the questions...well to geta call fm JB u need a minimum 155-160/200 in ur written with a minimum of 28-30 in GD..i.e a total of 183-190/240..competition is really high for this exam for a very few good colleges....so take as many mock as possible to increase ur speed...try memorising the square, cubes n square roots of numbers 1-20..will make ur job easy in q.a n d.i...al the best..

Post MH-CET (Maharashtra Common Entrance Test) Queries

Hi, what is the level of questions in MHCET? For eg - SNAP level or MAT level or in between? When is the last date for application? and what is the usual cut off for the top colleges which accept MHCET scores - not in terms of percentile but actual marks. I am not asking for a prediction just the trend.

Also what are the top colleges through MHCET and do you have to apply for each of them individually as well like in CAT?

By the way how many seats are kept for non-maharashtrian applicants?
Will it be of any use even if we apply? Because, if only some 15 seats are there for us, then what is the use of writing the test?

No official announcement has been made with regard to availability of MHCET forms. But they should be available from next week hopefully.

No idea about the mass communication colleges...

i guess that is where competition comes in
only 15% of the seats in a college are up for grabs for non Maharastra students
Atleast they give the non-Maharastrian people a chance by accepting scores of all the major exams other than CET
