    Talking Less than 90 percentile in cat....

    Hi frndz....

    Plz suggest a list of b-schools(with good placement records last yr) which accept CAT-Percentile less than 90 (minimum 85).....

    What cut-offs do TAPMI and Welingkar accept?

    This is a nice initiative but I think the admissions for most colleges would be closed by now.

    Before I say anything, a suggestion, dont rate a particular college only on its placements. There are a host of other factors like the kind of education, the faculty, the peers etc etc. I would be lying if I say that placements shouldnt be included here but it should not be a deciding factor for a B-school. There are other important ones before it.

    As for B-schools that accept candidates with percentiles below 90, only 2 come to my mind right now. (guess am too sleepy)

    1. SP Jain, Mumbai (Minimum %cile needed = 85)
    Calls are essentially profile-based. Sees the academic records, extra-curricular activities and a candidate's eligibility levels to the institute in great detail.

    2. NITIE, Mumbai
    Is only for engineers.

    Can google the names and see the official websites for more info. Will add more colleges when remember them.

    tapmi takes 90+%le

    wellingkar takes 85%le

    other institutes which take around 85%le

    itm navi mumbai;

    Who made u the moderator ? Last year Cut off for NITIE for GEN Categiry was above 98.2 %ile

    OMG !! I am extremely sorry guys. I didnt know that the cut-off for NITIE ws so high. Guess I should have checked before posting. Pardon my mistake.

    Fore will be around 90-92...It is also a good option though the last date has been crossed..

    hey why are u worried....?.u getting 296 in fms rite?...chillax!..thats enough to clear the cut off,prepare fer the GD/PI....apart frm that,u can apply fer MICA,the last date to apply is 27th JAN...
