    Confused by the question.
    Are you looking for 4% on hour 2? (20%-16%)
    Or maybe looking at 46 hours to hit 100% (Gain 2% net per hour [10-8], so on hour 46 you are at 100% [2*45=90+10]) until you lose the 8% again.

    5 engines= 6 engines
    1 engine consumption (later)=1.2 engine consumption (former)

    former type:
    10 engines 9hrs/day 80litres
    1 engines 1hrs/day 8/9tres

    later type:
    1 engine consumption (later)=1.2 *8/9
    15 engines 10 hrs=1.2*8/9 *10*15=160

    Find the no. of man-hrs to complete the job
    15 * 42 * 4 = 2520 man hrs
    :
    2 man-hrs = 3 women-hrs
    therefore
    1 women-hr = 2/3 man-hr
    :
    let d = no. days for these women to do the job
    21 * 2/3 * 6d = 2520
    84d = 2520
    d = 30 days

    area of sq field=625*10000 sq m=6250000sq m.
    so, side of square=sqrt(6250000)=2500m
    perimeter=4*2500m
    so, cost=4*2500*(15/100)=Rs 1500

    area= 625 hectare = 625 * 10^4 m^2
    side= 2500 m
    perimeter= 10^4m
    so cost of erecting= 10^4 *0.15 = Rs 1500.

    10% of 2000 = 200

    SP of 200 table at 50% = rs.200 * (17.25/2) = rs.1725

    SP of remaining 1800 tables = rs.1800 * 17.25 = rs31050

    Rs.31050 + rs1725 = rs.32775

    Now

    rs.32775 includes 15% profit

    CP = (100/115)*32775

    Now the actual SP

    =2000*(30/115)*17.25 + 2000*(70/100)*(17.25/2)

    =rs22425

    Loss= CP - SP = 28500-22425 = 6075

     10% of 2000 = 200
    SP of 200 table at 50% = rs.200 * (17.25/2) = rs.1725
    SP of remaining 1800 tables = rs.1800 * 17.25 = rs31050
    Rs.31050 + rs1725 = rs.32775
    Now, rs.32775 includes 15% profit
    CP = (100/115)*32775

    Now the actual SP=2000*(30/115)*17.25 + 2000*(70/100)*(17.25/2)=rs22425
    Loss= CP - SP = 28500-22425 = 6075

    Let provision for 750 men for 20 weeks = x

    Provision for 1 man for 1 week = x/(20*750)

    Provision for 750 men for 1 week = x/20

    Provision used up in first 4 weeks = 4* x/20 = x/5

    Provision remaining = x - x/5 = 4x/5

    Men added = 450. So, total men now = 750 + 450 = 1200

    Provision for 1200 men for 1 week
    = 1200 * x/(20*750) = 2x/25

    Therefore no of weeks provision will last
    = (4x/5)/(2x/25)
    = 10 weeks
