Since it is the north pole, the colour of the bear is white!
As brown and black bears are not found on the poles!

consider tat a mouse dies exactly 14 hours after consuming the poison:
At 1st min the mouse tastes 1st can & dies at 14hr
At 2nd min the mouse tastes 2nd can & dies at 14hr.1Min
At 3rd min the mouse tastes 3rd can & dies at 14hr.2Min
    .
    .
    .
At 29th min the mouse tastes 29th can & dies at 14hr.28Min
If the mouse is till alive after 14hr.28Min then the poison will be in the 30th Can....

So no death and result achieved in the last case...

    hence,
1 mouse & 14hrs 28mins are enough to get the result...

Already answered previously , use the search functionality for detailed solution.

    still

    answer is 488
    125-27=98 small cubes..
no of faces of cubes = 6*98=588
no of faces of small cubes painted = 4*25=100.
Therefore no of unpainted faces = 588-100= 488

Post TestFunda Answers - Logical Reasoning

The basic idea is to get maximum value.... so if alok chooses anything more than or equal to 3 then he going to end up only with a maximum of 1... example if he takes 3 and banu will choose either y or z coz if she chooses x then alok will suggest remaining values as 0 and 0... now for the second try he has to choose a value more than 3 or else bhanu will choose that value for x and N will become negative at the end.... if he chooses 4 then banu will assign it to x thus keeping the value of X to 1.. and if chooses 5 then she ll assign it z.. Thus value is kept to maximum of 1....
Now lets say alok chooses 2.... banu will try to put it to y or z.... now alok chooses 4.. then she ll choose it for x.. thus keeping the value of N to 2.. if alok chooses 5 on second try then she ll assign for z thus again keeping the value down to 2.....

So only 2 can be Achieved as maximum value for N if they both play optimally.....

Let us suppose Pal is saying truth , then today is thursday
Let us say pal is saying a lie , then today is monday

now assume byte is saying truth , today is sunday
byte is saying a lie: today is thursday

so pal is saying truth and byte is lieing and hence today is thursday (the common answer)

    hence option 1

Ramu & sangeetha went for biological analysis to a island which is 34km from their place. They travelled in a boat which went at a speed of 2m/s. when they are in half a distance in the boat sangeetha note there are 7 leg & 8 leg octopuses under the water. Ramu counted the total number of legs of octopuses and got 52. Sangeetha instantly said I know how many 7 leged octopuses are there under the water. They both reached the island after 20 min they left . How many seven leged octopuses does sangeetha calculate?

present age of X+Y is =6+9=15
    5 years  later
    ((Y-3)+5)/(Y+5)=1/2
solving the eqn we get y=9,x=6

    The equation will be 7m + 8n =54

this is satisfied only at m = 2 and n =5 but 2 is not in the options

    so options are incorrect

there are 2 7 leg octopuses

Let x be the number of 7 leg octopuses and y be the number of 8 legged octopuses
    So, 7x + 8y = 52
    Put x=4, So, 8y = 24. so y = 3
For the other options, we dont get an integer.
    So, answer = option 4

Each person shakes hand with other.
So 1 person will shake hand with 22 other people.
There are total 23 people, so total number = 23*22
    but,if A shakes B, or B shakes A, its the same thing so divide that by 2 to get 23*22/2 = 253
This is the maximum handshakes possible!
    Now, suppose there are 3 people : a, b and c
So, cyclic handshakes(when they are seated in a circle) would be ab, bc and ac -> Thus only 3 hand shakes
So, for 23 people, there would be 23 handshakes...

The worst case scenario is that she picks up all the red ones first, then all the green ones...So..
    The minimum draws required = 41+23+2 = 66
(note the 2 is of the orange colour as it is the least in count)
