    Let e be the age of eldest, y be the age of middle one, and s be the age of youngest

    from given data we can deduce the following

    e-y = 3 or e-s =3 or y-s =3

    e = 3s

    e = 2+ y + s

    3s = 2 + y + s

    2s = 2 + y

    Assume e-y =3

    3 = 2+s

    s = 1
    e = 3
    y = 0 (not possible)

    assume e-s = 3
    3+s = 3s
    2s = 3

    s = 1.5
    e = 4.5
    y = 1.5 not possible because there is youngest child hence s and y should be distinct

    assume y-s = 3

    2s = 2+3+s
    s = 5
    y = 8
    e = 15

    total volume = pie*r^2*H
                       = 12pie
                       =37.7

    now if 3cubic meter tank is used it takes 12 full times to fill the tank..........but for the 13th time the 3cc tank is only partially filled........so, 12 is the answer.

    the minimum no. of cuts would be 11.
    (x+1)(y+1)(z+1), where x,y and z are the no of cuts in respective axes. 84=12*7, (6+1)(3+1)(2+1).
    hence 6+3+2=11 minimum cuts.   :-)

    Alice and Bob play the following coins-on-a-stack game. 20 coins are stacked one above the other. One of them is a special (gold) coin and the rest are ordinary coins. The goal is to bring the gold coin to the top by repeatedly moving the topmost coin to another position in the stack.
    Alice starts and the players take turns. A turn consists of moving the coin on the top to a position i below the top coin (0 = i = 20). We will call this an i-move (thus a 0-move implies doing nothing). The provision is that an i-move cannot be repeated; for example once a player makes a 2-move, on subsequent turns neither player can make a 2-move.
    If the gold coin happens to be on top when it’s a player’s turn then the player wins the game.
    Initially, the gold coin is the third coin from the top. Then
    Options
    1)

    • In order to win, Alice’s first move should be a 0-move.

    2)

    • In order to win, Alice’s first move should be a 1-move.

    3)

    • Alice has no winning strategy.

    4)

    • In order to win, Alice’s first move can be a 0-move or a 1-move.

    If we select Mimosaic, we need to select Woody as well
    And, if we select Lilac, we need to select Balsamic as well
    Therefore, we have to have the above 4 fragrances together, however, Woody and Balsamic do not go together
    Therefore, we cannot select Mimosaic and Lilac

    Ans: Option 4(Mimosaic and Lilac)
